Will a T1 cam w/o header and tuning run ok???
I bought a T1 cam, and want to install it without tuning because headers will come in a few months. Will the car run ok without headers or tuning? I plan to install headers in a few months and will get tuning then. Right now I dont want to get tuning and have to tune again when the headers come. Will The car run ok for a few months? Thanks

I ran my 6 speed C5 like that for about 3 months. The main problem is surging at idle. I had trouble with it dying with the AC on.

Hey, A98W6, is your car A4? If so, you're gonna have a helluva time getting that thing to run untuned.

I'm going C1 without heads/headers (at least for a while) i hope my M6 can cope w/o a tune...i'm kinda worried but most folks seem to be able to run a 222/222 566/566 (and larger)w/o tune, at least the threads i have read indicate this.

No trouble with cold starts. Hot starts are moody on hot & humid days w/ the A/c on.
The C1 would not find idle when it was first put in. It took some minor tuning with the diablo to get it streetable. A final dyno/edit tune hammered all the bugs out.
