Default All 987 Comp dual spring users, need help FAST!

ok, i will simply cut/paste my universal email below. hopefully someone has an answer:

" received the Comp. Cams 987 springs and they look good. I also received the Comp. Cams P/N 730-16 Ti retainers which they recommended for this application... The problem is, they are 10 degree retainers and no valve
lock (keeper) exists that fit the LS1 valve and this retainer. I also tried a 7 degree Comp. Cams retainer but that
will not work with the LS1 style valves either. There is no LS1 style valve keeper (7 degree or 10 degree) that will
work with any of the Comp.Cams retainers. Comp. Cams has only one LS1 style retainer (P/N 754-16 with 6.2 degree keeper
angle) and that is for a 1.250" diameter spring and will not work with the 987springs. I have talked to both Comp Cams
and Manely about this problem and they have nothing that will work...
The problem now is that with LS1 style valves (2.05I, 1.6E, Ferrea's), the only keeper that will work are the stock GM
(6.2 degree) keepers. I am now searching for a retainer that will match the 987 spring AND the LS1 valve and keeper..."

HELP!! need retainers and/or keepers to work with my Ferrea valves and 987 spring set.

You should be useing the Comp 776 titanium retianers and stock GM LS1 locks. That will work fine. Hope this helps...

Yes, Thunder sells both the 776 Comp Ti. retainers and the GM locks.
