Default what PSI for holding valves up?

im gonna borrow a frinds compressor for cam/valvetrain swap..what PSI is good to keep the valves up?

Shoot I only used 40 and you couldnt push the valve down if you tried. Remember thats 40 PSI and the intake valve has an area of 3.14 sq in. so the actual pressure pushing the valve up is 125 pounds!
