Default 396 LT1 Stroker Questions

K i was just wonderin what size pushrods, were used with your 396's. And possibly even the oil pan, havin trouble deciding which one to go with... Fuel Injectors, not sure to go with 36-42 Lbs, appreciate it guys.

I'm running 42lb injectors with my 383.

Your pushrods should be stock length if you are using a factory hyd roller, unless your heads require a +.100 length.

make sure if you install an aftermarket pan which has a crank scraper that you notch it so your dipstick doesn't hit it https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-modifications/1010757-someone-please-measure-dipstick.html

I don't know it off hand, but I'd use the formula to figure out what size injectors to run though.

42lbers and if your a splayed mains then your gong to need a different dipstick or a modified stock one to clear the caps.

Always measure your pushrod requirements with a length checker.
Depending on your gasket and valve selection, head mill, block deck, cam, rockers and lifters, you may need something drastically longer or shorter.

Fuel injectors need to be big enough to handle your HP output at high RPM.
36 are large enough for most N/A stoker builds, 42s are good insurance and leave room to grow.
