Default TTiX stock motor 10.2@142 in car video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCGt79IxadU

60': 1.601
1/8: 6.744@107.76
1/4: 10.279@142.21

This is about 13psi on a bone stock longblock with pump gas, methanol injected, and about 55 degrees outside. It spun hard on launch and hit the rev limit. Next time with a cleaner launch and quicker shifting, maybe 9's? Too bad the tracks are closed now, so next time will be in 2009. Note, I had the AM radio on and picked up some noise in 3rd/4th. Next time I'll nix the radio.

great mph, bet that car is a beast! its probably best that you spun cause you'd break a whole lot of **** if you hooked with that much power. lol.

Great run, what track were you at? How are they about not having a full cage & window net?

I am really not wanting to put all that stuff in my daily driver...

That's Pacifc Raceways in Kent. So far they haven't said anything, but it's a matter of time until they do. That day was super crowded and I got one run. I could've waited in line another 3 hours for the next run, but was already happy. Not sure it's worth making a special trip out for that, when you could go "one and done" anywhere else.

I keep hoping to stick the launch, but it never happens. That was a 5K dump with 9psi in ET Streets, and a BBQ burnout. I guess spinning is OK if it saves parts!

I'm not a fan of ET streets. Go with the M/T Drag Radial its stickier. or you can go with a slick but you may grenade your IRS. Just have money or CC ready in case ya break.

You're right, spinning does save parts as long as you don't wheel hop!

The best feeling is when you dead hook and the front end picks up real high and you get pushed back into your seat!

Man that's awesome, even going through the gears, look at how much the *** end squats to put the front end that high. Very damn impressive MPH!

Yes, 2 step and the diff is stock 3.42. Barely got on the chip that run. It has a DTE brace and hardened driver side shaft. Right about the radio, to hear the announcer and luckily he wasn't talking during that run.

That's what I'm thinking. Especially if you get those shifts down better!
