Default Hit 12s in the land barge today :)

Packed Ainsley and the car up and hit the track today.

Weather Data:
42.8F/6.0C
53% humidity/26.6/-3.0 dew point
30.48 Baro
15mph headwind
DA: -778 feet

Car mods: HF Magnaflow cats and Predator 91 Octane tune...

Loaded up the 91 Oct perf tune in the predator with the following changes:
1K-3.8K rpm +10% rich
3.8K-4.9Krpm +16% rich
5-7K rpm +14% rich
Stock shiftpoints (I didn't raise the shiftpoints)

Car was loaded up with gas (Filled up before deciding to go to the track which turned out to be good for traction)
Baby seat in the car, misc *****

Raceweight ~4475pds

Hotlapped all passes in pairs, coolant in the 205-210 range, air pressure 33psi in the back and 38psi in the front (just like on the street)

First pass with a gentle launch was 13.11@105mph on a 2.05 sixty. I thought that was pretty decent so I started to get my hopes up

Hotlapped the car and went 13.08@106mph and a 2.02 sixty slightly more aggressive launch.

Next pass was 13.05@105mph and a 2.00 sixty. Getting really close now!!

Headed straight back into the staging lanes and a decent burnout yielded the best pass of the day

Brought the revs up to about 1100rpm and then flashed the converter

Car hooked well with no tire spin and the launch felt great...I knew I had it before I hit the 1/8th

sixty: 1.97
1/8th: 8.378
mph: 84.42
1000: 10.869
1/4: 12.957
mph: 106.65

Great day racing! The car was down about 2-3mph from the headwind I'm guessing but no idea if it would have affected ET all that much. (Maybe a tenth?)

I'm thrilled I hit my goal of 12's in the land barge in full street trim...These HEMI motors are pretty stout

It was nice seeing Claudio, Ian, Dean, Patman, Wade, Susie, Pomp, Arun et al today. I would have liked to stick around to watch more racing (and race more myself) but had to take the little one home...

Good luck today guys, hope you all hit PBs!

Congrats Chris. I hit a new personal best in the SRT8 Jeep yesterday, but the weather wasn't near as good as yours. With -778' DA, I would probably be in the very low 12s or maybe event. Had to settle for 1800-1900' DA. But then again, a warm day racing beats a cool day at the office. Here's my time slip. Again, props to you and the barge.

Cam specs are 214/218 .565/.555 114LSA +4 advance. For an LX car, +0 advance works better. I have the BWoody CAI, SLP UD pulley, American Racing 1 3/4" headers with cats, ported intake manifold, and Predator tune.

Cool good stuff...I just noticed a new CROM is out for Diablo...I should have checked before I went to the track. Just installed 9R08 with +3% fuel across the board...Be interested to see how it compares to the old CROM I ran before...

Congrats again Chris! It was cool seeing you today! Our cars are very evenly matched, as my best ET today was 12.999 at 106.34. We should've lined up for a grudge match!
