Definatly sled time!!! and i got a feild on my farm we do grass drags in ..its perfect..flat and straight! only bad part is we can only run about 500 feet..not enough to let the xcr really open up and really start pulling on top. but it works

we run a feild in maine 500 feet, we went to another place last time it was better, super flat marked out 660 with tons of shutdown, and theres a big "pond/stream" thats shallow you run threw for cool down
thats where we will go this sunday if the weather is right. we need some cold days to dry up some spots for parking

ahh sounds like you got a good place to run up there..there used to be more drags down this way but they are getting fewer and fewer..last ones we went to it was a 300 ft track and it looked like they got 2 inches of rain the day before..kinda sucked..but keep praying for snow and in the mean time lets go airrate the grass..i tell everyone the studs are good for the grass haha

How fast is your sled in the 660' at that lake you roll to in the winter Brad?

I stopped by my buddy Todds body shop to check out the paint on his sled today. Said its supposed to be pretty quick this year! I'm definately going to have to head on over once winter gets into full swing.

depends, last weekend i was geared for 500 feet and we went 660 so at 400-450 i was all done so in 660 i was about 85-87

im hoping geared right this weekend to see 90 or so. im also jetted to fat, im running in 660 around 900 egt, i should be closer to 1100 i thought it would be colder. depending n weather this weekend 90+ is the goal. on low snow hard packed its a tad quicker

yeah noyzee im down here in PA..kinda sucks cause whenever we want to do ice runs we gotta drive way north...there isnt any lake runs down here hardly at all anymore..which is a shame..last year my cousin went up to old forge..hes got a 800 xcr thats got some work done..he used to be like a pro drag racer for a while so anything he builds is always nasty..we are planning on doing a trip up north this year so when i figure out where we are goin ill let you know..and our drags look like they are put on hold for another weekend cause of the 2+ inches of rain expected here tomorrow and friday..if only it were snow im goin to try to post up a pic of the track we just added more studs to.

nice, theres tons of places up here for ice. turkey pond is the best, then country pond for local places. then of course back lake for the trail sled shootouts.
let me know when.
