a run I had vs a Challenger R/T Sat at Rockingham dragway....his second run against me was much better, but this one was a little funny to say the least.

I had similar experiences at the SRT8 Nationals this past weekend. A stock Challenger against a modded SRT8 Jeep = death!

I've seen it happen more times than I'd like at the track. I'm surprised someone hasn't slammed into waiting cars before doing the same thing.

at our local track, they wont let you deep stage and if you go thru the lights like that you have to back all the way out and set the lights with a forward motion.

Had it happen in the staging lanes next race. Pro Blazer took out a S R T 4 in the lanes

Usually, the tech guy waves the next cars up closer to the water box behind the staging cars, so the Challenger guy was lucky the next car in line wasn't creeping up. He went about 15-20 ft back from when you see him take off in the vid, then slammed the brakes. I felt bad for him, but he looked to have gotten it figured out for his next runs. I saw a Cobalt SS hit it in reverse a few months ago at the track and turned it sideways when he hit the brakes (he slipped through the waterbox in "R" ), but luckily didn't hit anything either.
