Default V6 DI parts

Anyone on here have an idea where I can get part #'s for the heads off of the 3.6L DI motor in the CTS or a place where I can get a set of heads off of one?

I'm curious to see how the whole DI system works first hand. I've never worked on a DOHC motor before either. I understand how its assembled but its a whole diffrent beast to personally take one apart and see how it works and if any improvements can be made. I'm interested to see if there are any improvements to the heads or cams to further increase performance. I just like doing my research ahead of time. . . .

what numbers do you need? I work at a GM dealer so i can look up the CTS head part numbers but they usually come as a bare head no valves and such

I'd see if you could locate some cracked/junk heads that were removed for some reason. If they are complete you could get a good look at the system for cheap. I'm assuming you just want to tear into em and look, not use em. If they are junk you could even use a big bandsaw and slice em up like a MRI to see how everything runs in cross section.

Perhaps a junkyard, but if the engines ok I doubt they'd want to take the heads off a saleable motor.
