Default Need some advise

Ok guys i am not sure what the deal is but here goes. On the dyno the car seemed fine after alot of tunning on motor but when i put the 150 shot on i was having a problem with it falling on its face at 5900-6600 you can feel it just take a crap and the a/f goes to lean. Now the fuel pressure was no lower than 57psi (racetronix pump) and the duty cycle was at 95% and i dont have the fpss hooked up so it cant be that . Does anyone think the fuel noid isnt holding open? the a/f was good all the way up to 5900.

What was the AFR on nitrous and on motor? Also the Fuel pressure was it 57PSI constant the whole time you were spraying?

did you remeber to take the shrader valve out? LOL...

put the nozzle in a bucket with the nitrous bottle off. ground the kit and see if it sprays fuel.

What plugs and gap are you running? Have you pulled any of them out to verify what they look like after a pull? Where is the dyno pulling the a/f from?

i arm the sys. and close the bottle, activate it at my set rpm of 4k and watch the wb gauge . looking for a drop while driving on the higway. my fuel noid happened to be intermittent so it took 2 or 3 tries to get it to fail. for the n2o i set my activation rpm to 1000 and cap the fuel line suppling the noid, i disconnect the n2o line and hold it tight away from your face and engine, start it up and active the tps sw. with a screw driver or your finger!!

The a/f was 11.5-11.9 all the way up to 6 grand and on motor it was 12.5-12.9 up to 6600. It seems fine until it gets to around 6 grand and the car falls on its face and gets real lean like 14.1 -15.8 and you can feal it fall off that is why i was thinking maybe the fuel noid isnt holding open to well or failing. I tried a 125 on the street the other day and it seemed fine but had the window switch set at 3400-5800. I have tr6 plugs that are gapped to .035 i think.

an easy way to know if the noid is being activated is it will magnatize hold a screw driver near the top nut and when you hit your window it will magnitize and pull the screw driver. if it pulses or turns off then you know its either in the wiring on the noid is bad. but NW noids 3-4 years old I would replace them. they are not the best to begin with.

Ya i know that is def something im needing to replace now. I dont have problems with lower rps so its gonna be hard to figure out if its surging since its around 6k. im gonna replace them and rewire and locate my system when my 2 step comes back from synergy. How are the hsw noids? I know they are priced right? Just looking for 2 noids and 2 brackets reasonably priced that are good for atleast a 175 shot.

I have not used the hsw's but i have not heard of any issues. I like nitro daves brand noids. I have used them and never had an issue.
