Exclamation cam over 600 lift?

i am lookin into buyin cams but all are around 595 lift or bigger. i was told that if i were to buy a cam that was bigger than a 600 lift that i would have to re-adjust my rocker arms and valves after everytime i run the car and turn it off? is there any truth to this? i dont think there is but maybe you guys can let me know since im pretty new to the whole cam thing.

no way in hell, if that was true, no one would have a cam with .600 lift except dedicated race cars. Good idea to not get any more info from "that" guy

Nope, all My cam is a smaller duration with .609 lift intake and .604 exhaust, some bigger cams are running .64x and .65x and have no issues like that.

If you are looking into a cam though, the more research you do the better.

Solid cams need to have the valves adjusted around every 15-20,000 miles but hydraulic cams dont really need to ever be adjusted

Just make sure you get a good dual valve spring to handle more than .600 lift.
