Default Latest head and cam package

We're pretty proud of this one.
98 Fbody
stock lower end
12 bolt/4.10 gears
steel driveshaft
dual disc clutch
Drag radials, 315s I think
OK, that's what its got going against it.
Mods
TFS 215s out of the box, milled to 59.5cc chambers
Custom cam, fairly mild, sub 240s
new lifters, GMs, stock,
pushrods
FAST 92/92, UNPORTED
Had American Racing headers and UD pulley to start with.
Through cats and the rest of the exhaust, no dyno tricks.
SD tune.

469.4/411.5
We're going to run it open header, and take the manifold off and port it. Then we'll most likely add an electric waterpump. Shootin for the 500 rwhp mark.
Track numbers this weekend if all goes well.

I'm calling BS! Ed's dyno is far from honest. It's the stingiest SOB out there. Cars from other tuners consistently read lower...What's that about? Think that's coincidence? Sure it's numbers are repeatable every time but so what?

If you want your car to show BIG numbers you won't see them on Ed's dyno.

Nice #s, I was considering these exact same heads to go with my Torquer v.2. I might have to swap the cam out while I'm in there now!

Did you have to flycut with those milled heads and a 240s duration camshaft? Its got to be close.

No flycutting. The cam is less than 240 deg. This actually didn't start out to be a max effort, or we would have put a bigger cam in it to begin with. Just happens it made real nice power for what it is, and we thought we'd take it as far as we can.

Yeah, that what I was impressed with. He's probably giving up a good 20 with the combined weight of the driveline. Maybe more.

Good numbers Ed. I think going with a 24x cam and porting the FAST, you should exceed that 500 mark. Might want to touch the TFS if it is going to be a max effort now, regraless it is a ncie setup.
