Default Need help with tune

I'm buying HP tuners to tune my car, don't really know a whole lot about tuning but real interested in it. What kind of stuff should i change to get the best possible outcome of my tune?

99 SS with 2004 z06 motor, SLP headers, intake, and flow pac. Stock injectors, fuel rails, MAF, coils, MSD wires, M6, RAM powergrip clutch kit w/ billet steel flywheel and RAM slave cylinder.
Thanks

And what do people mean by tuning in speed density. These may seem like stupid questions but I don't have a clue what I'm doing.

hard to cram weeks and weeks of reading into a post for ya... just hit the forums and start reading; there is no shortcut unfortunately.
