I fill te bucket, (porvide it is uncut)then put 5-8 gal in the tank and let it sit for 15-20 mins. Before putting power to it. Last thing you want to do is start it in a dry or low fuel condition.

the tank is about half full. if i leave it over night or for a couple of days with the bucket fill? the reason why im asking is i made that mistake and put the tank back up. i didnt do the trap mod because i didnt want to cut the skin nor did i have a dremel tool. it was a f*cking b*tch dropping and installing that tank half full by myself... is there any other way to go about NOT damaging the new pump(filling the bucket), please let me know...

Trap door and didn't fill the bucket when I reinstalled. Dropped it in and fired her up.
