If your tight on money I hear the Summit Racing ones are not too bad and do not stick (plus cheap)

I'm running the Professional Products Throttle Body. The quality is not bad at all.

^^ This is a very old post

I ran one for a while that was fine on a bolt-on car as-is, and after the idle air hole mod was fine with the H/C package. Did not ever stick on me and I did not have any complaints.

I changed to an AS&M basically for the "bling" factor since it is a trick billet piece instead of sand cast. It also needed the idle air mod as well, so performance and drivability wise they were identical, on difference being a few hundred bucks on the price tag!

fyi, as far as sticking, I've got a stock TB bored to 54mm and it sticks occasionally, it doesn't return all the way to the stop and the idle is like 2-300 rpms higher. I think it has something to do with one of pieces being painted.

I'm looking at a 58mm model for my LE2 upgrade. Would you go with PP again, or would a used BBK be better?

I rock the Summit 58mm. It is a very nice piece, and was $249 iirc.

BBK IMO...it's what I'm running with my LE2 set up. Not that the PP are garbage I just think the BBK's are a better quality built throttle body. I had a couple Professional Product TB, sold one to a guy on here and ran the other for a short bit and sold that one as well.
