Or does anyone other than SLP and SLP Engineering make a kit? If not, has anyone ever fabricated their own kit? Im not looking for a whole exhaust, just hardware/materials to have it come out in the middle. I wanted to be a little different by trying to stay away from the SLP CME kit. Im sure that something could be fabricated, but I havent decided if I wanna take that step or not. If a kit doesnt exist, then making a kit may be the next step that I take. Honestly, I was looking for more of a smoother oval dual tip mounted in the center. Almost like the Vettes have, but with only 2 tips instead of 4. (I think that the regular Vettes have 2 and that the ZO6s have 4, but Im not certain.) I could see using the 90º elbows that SLP offers, but maybe using different tips. But I would then need to have a dual tip. If they dont exist, then the only other thing that I can think of is to buy 2 regular tips, and route them to the elbows coming off the 2 pipes. Do you know if you can rig up the tips off the Vettes to work with the F-bodies? Are the tips seperate, or is it the 2 elbows that flow into 1 mount but have 2 tips? Does that make sense? Any suggestions, ideas, tips, or if anyone has done this before, could you post some pics? Thanks a mil'!

I acutally wanted to use the valance from SLP Engineering and then have different tips. I like the SLP ones, but I wanted to go with a different look. Maybe with oval tips but without the ends being flat like the SLP ones. Has anyone modified the SLP kit with different tips or fabricated a whole kit? Thanks

Until I found out how to ge the true 2 outlet CME I was thinking about doing the same thing.............here is what I had in mind for tips to use from Corsa.

But at $500 for 2 of these made the $79 factory CME tip was cheap!




You could always try 2 of these but that would still cost $300 just for tips.

Im not a big fan of the Corsa tips, but Im only looking into doing 2 tips total. Meaning, not 2 dual tips which would be a total of 4, just 2 single tips. I really like the tip below, what kind is that? Where did you find that at? Im sure that I could come across a nice looking tip for a reasonable amount. Anyone know where I can start looking? I just cant see paying any more than $100 for set of tips. Even at that rate, is still pricey for tips. I really like the tip at the bottom, but 2 for $300 is not in my budget.

Ohhh...I didnt know that the bottom ones are made by Corsa too. When I said that I wasnt a Corsa fan, I meant the standard tips that come one the catbacks. Sorry for the confusion. Do you know of any places, sites, links, etc. that I can go to, to look for tips? Thanks

I just polished the hell out of my CME tips, they look damn good now.

Oh dont get me wrong, I love the way the CME looks! Im just trying to go for a different look. I actually wanted to go with a chrome oval tip, something similar to what SS LS1 posted. (the bottom pic) The only thing that I dont like about the tips on the CME is the flap lip and the end. Do you have any ideas where I can look for tips? Thanks
