Final gear in 1/4 mile using 4.11 and stock SS wheels
I have an M6 that pulls to 6300 RPM's. It makes peak HP at 6100 RPM's so I am thinking 6300-6400 RPM's shifts. I don't want to shift into 5th gear in the quarter. I will probable run Nitto 275/40/17 DR or 16 inch ET Streets. I heard 3.90's are available. What are the differences in performance? What do you guys thinks?

4.11s will carry you to 119 with stock height tires at 6400 RPM in 4th. This would be equivalent to a ~116-117 trap speed (trap speed and actual speed are not the same.)
So, the question is, do you plan to go faster than that in the 1/4?
