Default How do you tell if your PCM is pulling timing without data-logging?

I have been considering getting an LT4 KM over just getting my LT1 KM desensitized. I don't know if the PCM is pulling timing but since I have 1.6 Crane RR that are audibly louder than the stock RR I am assuming that some timing is being pulled.

Is there a way to tell if the LT1 KM is picking up false knock without using data-logging software? I don't have the software or know how to use it in order to check?

if you can find a shop with a Snap-On scan tool, they will be able to view live engine data, and should be able to tell you
