First Pass/First Time out in my HCI C5Z+Stock Clutch=11.50s So I went to the 1/4 mile track today in Fayetteville, NC...the track is about a hour and a half from the house....my stock clutch does not like my power:*****:
This was my very first pass on my new MT Drag Radials with my new setup and my 2nd time ever drag racing the Vette
Tires 20PSI cold
Launch RPM 3000
Not powershifting
1.87 60ft Bog
7.57 1/8
96.1 1/8mph
11.57 1/4
123.25 1/4mph
I hit the limiter on 2 of the shifts, Im thinking of rasing my limiter to 7000 so I can run out 3rd gear some more to prepare for the M12 Trans 3-4 shift drop in RPMs
Looking in the C5Z section this would put me #6 in my category on the Fast List....yet my 60ft blows compared to theirs
After the pass pushed the clutch in and it stayed on the floor (First time its done this suprisingly

Dumb on my part::smash::smash:
1/2 tank of gas and a bunch of crap in the trunk along with my computer that I forgot to hit record before my pass....car is still running a little fat up top.
I went to run again (after a cooldown and clutch fluid swap)....tried a 4000 RPM launch....I spun then started to hop....I didn't want to break a halfshaft (100% stock Z06 rear) so I let out. I ended up not running anymore as I have to drive this to work everyday as well as drive to Tennessee Tuesday.
Not bad for my very first pass on my first time out on my new heads/cam setup...I think there was 11.20s at 125 in the car tonight....with a clutch and a better shifter/shifting i think 10.90s at 127 are possible with the stock gear.
I only got 1 timeslip from the night so I'll show it off I guess!:yesnod:

264 DA 5:50pm time of pass....should have ran again at 8PM...DA went to -250
