Default production numbes?

Has there been any mention as to how many 2010 Camaros will be made?
Or are they waiting to see how many orders role in?

just google and find the articles. I doubt the government would let them go completely under becuase of all the jobs they would lose, but I found an accounting statement from June that showed them at about 50-60 BILLION in NEGATIVE equity. How the hell do CEO's keep their jobs running companies into the ground? Oh wait they dont care because if they get fired they still get a fat *** severence package worth more than I'll make my entire life.

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bs?s=GM

heres their balance sheet. 58 BILLION in the hole. WTF!!! Ford is about 2-3 BILLION in the hole too. The numbers on that sheet are in thousands, so 58 million thousands is 58 billion.

As any as they can possibly sell. Nothing about exclusive production numbers, or limited supplies. They want and NEED to sell as many as they can roll off of the assembly line

I think if the Camaro flops, GM is screwed. Seems like the G8's arent doing to well either, and we all know how well truck sales are going....

GM is hoping the Camaro will save them and they will make as many as they can sell. Hopefully GM will advertise the new Camaro so everybody knows how great it is.

Yes...it has been mentioned, and the statement was " we will build as many as we sell"

I am seeing more and more G8's every week. I don't think they are doing "bad." They are not selling like hot cakes or mustangs though.

I bet the release date will be delayed at the least, if not cancelled.

they're anticipating 100k+, although they have to make it to that point first.

What will all the people here that ordered or wanted to get a Camaro do if GM does go bankrupt and the Camaro is delayed a long time or cancelled?

GM has WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY too much money in the new Camaro to cancel it now. Even if GM goes through bankruptcy they will continue to build cars. The airlines didn't stop flying while they were going through bankruptcy and the car manufactuers wont stop making cars. If GM goes through bankruptcy it will be a restucturing and renegotiating of contracts not closing the doors for good. The world cannot afford for GM to close for good.
