Default LS2 heads vs. PRC Stg 1 ls6

One of my buddies put a set of PRC stage 1 ls6 heads on his car (06 GTO LS2 6-speed) with a VRX5. Someone actually told me that the LS2 stock heads outflow the stage ones? That doesnt seem right, but then again I may be mistaken. So two questions here:

1. Is that true or way off that the PRC stage 1 LS6's dont flow as good as the LS2's?

2. What kind of power would he be making with his setup (LS2, 6-speed, LT's, Vengeance Mail order tune, VRX5, Stage 1 Ls6's) The reason I ask this is because he had a mystery cam in before the H/C swap, and we were dead even with the setup in my sig. Now I pull him a little bit? Which would fit the situation here with the LS2s outflowing the stage ones.

An ls2 and ls6 head are the same casting.A cnc ported head with a shitty port could absolutely make less power than a stock head.

The PRC head flows 300 cfm & has been engine dyno tested to make 35-40hp gains from a stock 241 casting. The stock 243 casting gained 13hp.

Red who told you the stock 243 would flow more air? That's unbelieveable! LOL

so correct if I am misunderstanding this, but LS2's come with 243 castings from the factory? or is it a similar casting to the 243 with a rebranded number?

LS2's come with 243 heads but the have like a 65 cc camber and don't have the sodium filled valve's. Correct me if I am wrong. I have some that will be for sale with PRC dual valve springs with 6,000 miles on them.
