Default New LSX Crates for '09!!

I just got the flyer for the new LS engines for 09. pretty cool. We will now be offering 5 new crate engines for the new year, and i dont think they will dissapoint. the long awaited LSX454 carbed complete engine is now available, rated at 620 horsepower. also, the LSX376 LS3 setup is rated at 450hp. the caddy LSA will also be available, rated at 550hp, supercharger and all. The camaro platform's L99 400hp engine will be hitting the lineup as well. And, last but not least, the Almighty LS9 6.2L supercharged V8 from the beautiful Corvette ZR1 will be available. Thats right kids, get in line for the ride of your life HAHAHA!!!!
Aside from the engines themselves, we are also offering parts-wise LSX forged rods, pistons, and cranks. also all the LSX style heads for the varying LS series engines, camshafts, carb intakes, and some BADASS powdercoated valve covers. the golden age of the LS based engine is just beginning.

I posted up a thread with all of the high-quality images of ALL those parts, but some un-informed moderator deleted it thinking it was leaked photos, even though they were posted on GM media page for quite a time now. Regardless, all some very badass parts!

The information i have is not leaked as far as i am aware, although we do get such information from time to time as my supervisor knows some people deeper in GM. Not that it matters though, because they tell him in confidence and he doesnt tell me anything. But yes, very awesome parts indeed. This series is dominating the market price/power wise in my opinion. On top of that it is all backed by General Motors as far as quality goes. and from what i have seen, the quality is second to none.

I dont see why they couldnt do a limited run on it. all they have to do is drop it in there, aside from the heat exchanger. probably would be hard to sell them at the price they would be. if you figure a new LS7 is around 12,500, the LS9 is gonna be a stout price.

Isn't GM close to being out of business? Or in serious trouble at least?

why would they have probs with the heat exchanger??? its all one piece. and if you can find a complete LS7 for under 13k you are doing better than the rest of us...heck all of us
and i just dont see the Yenko dealerships of yore. it could happen, but would it really is the ?

I would think the LSA and LS9 would be similar in price in crate engine form. I'm expecting $20K for the LS9 crates.

Im sorry, i meant to say intercooler, as it is not part of the engine. i was saying some front end modifications would have to be made to pitch that in there. yeah, i can get an LS7 for under 13k, but remember im in parts wholesale in the third to fifth biggest parts departments in the western united states. we are a tier 1 powertrain dealer.

also, no solid info on when these motors can be ordered. from what im told, the LS9's are technically available, but GM has them on restrictions status. most likely internal politics.

As far as financial turmoil, yes, gm is is trouble, along with the auto industry as a whole. they are looking for at least the 25 billion dollar bailout from uncle sam right now, at least thats the mass message sent out over global connect from the VP of car sales and marketing of GM.
