yea ive seen those bikes few time sin person and still in awe and how crazy you have to be to ride one lol and Local-Heretic in TFD i do believe the record is 4.42 or sumthin like that

Thats just crazy! That thing is almost completely tapped out by the 1/8 mile! I couldn't even imagine going to fast in the 1/8th on a bike!!!!

Tony Shumacher NHRA Top Fuel champ ran 4.427 @ 328 mph ! and he has the top speed to @ 337. mph

Actually, it nosed over and went flat on the back half of the run. He has been as fast as 248mph, so it has more left on the table. He only gained 14mph on the back half of the run. His sixty foot time was .0987

The motor is only 93 cubic inches,blown, and burning nitro.

I was at BIR on the Tower side at about the 60' when he layed down that run. 4.447@337 . It almost bought a tear to my eye or it was the burnt nitro.

the starting line is insane too. go up there every year and never can get used to that.
