What ROCKERS are you running on your L92's? I know that is not your question, I will get to that in a second. I am running a very similar combo, 414" solid roller, L92's and 12:1. I am waiting for the Yella Terra's to come out, but have not settled on anything yet, as currently the pickings are SLIM. You got Crane, maybe. Jesel shaft, not a chance in hell!!!!! WAY OVERPRICED!!! And seems Comp has come up with something, and I was told a smaller company, I think "DRE" maybe makes an adjustable for the L92. Anyways, just wondering if you are picked up a set of ROCKERS and what did you get?
Now, back to your LIFTER question. I am going with Racer 7088's recommendation, and to protect the innocent , will not disclose here what he prefers. Seriously though, I have spoke very briefly through PM with Erik on the solid roller lifters and when I am ready (here in the next couple weeks) I am gonna get hooked up with him and get my lifters from him. From my understanding, the LSx solid roller lifters that are out there currently, are not "right" and you can wipe out a set of lifters/cam pretty quick. There are just a couple out right now that are quality pieces. So, this is a very good topic as more and more guys are going solid roller.
I am hoping that some "technical jargon" is thrown into this thread for my education so I can learn more about the shortcomings on the solid roller lifter on teh LSx based motors
