Default timing chain.

I need to know what you 1000+rwhp guys are running for timing chains. If you make 900rwhp i don't wanna hear what you have. i'm talking 1000rwhp+++. Whats good and whats bad?

from some research it seems like a double roller ls2 can stand that power

There is now a LS2 double roller? Never heard of one until now.

I would run a double roller not single at that power level but thats just me.Have slp double roller. Sorry no dyno number yet. Next spring. Target was 1000 engine hp but throwing on a direct port nitrous system also so miight get 1000rwhp or might upgrade the current turbos.

I have the Katech C5R single chain with factory gears and am not worried about it one bit.
The chain has no idea what cylinder pressure or HP you are making, and since the C5R chain has been proven to withstand serious abuse from extended high rpm usage
it will be plenty good for me.
Katech has yet to have a failure with this setup, so it will likely last me forever.
A premium double roller will be fine too.
