Default 16s and 17s?

Has anyone tried using the stock 16" Trans AM wheels on the front and a pair of 17" 98-00 WS6 wheels on the back? Is this even feasible? Or will it look like you have low profiles on the 17s and massive doughnuts on the 16s/17s look normal and 16s look like youre riding on rim?

I did some research, and best I could find is running 245/35/16 up front and 275/40/17 on the back.

Would this look bad?

Throw me some opinions, I have 4 16s, two are bubbling and cracking under the chrome, but a friend of mine gave me his two good chrome 98-00 WS6 wheels that he had left.

All four of the 16s are about due for new tires, so would it be worth putting rubber on the two 17s and putting them on the back?

What tire sizes/brands would everyone go with in their opinions on the two different sizes of rims.

Honestly I don't think it would look right....maybe try and sell the 4 you have and buy 2 to match the one's your buddy gave you.

Yeah I was thinking that, or just keep them and use them as my DD wheels until I can afford new wheels, and put DRs on the WS6 wheels to use at the track.
