Default Ram air hood

I've got a suncoast ram air hood w/ram air intake.

How much horsepower am i gaining over a standard cold air intake?

I do think you gain at the track with that set up. Not so much on a dyno but maybe 1-2 hp

What do you have 4 chicks for?? Starting a farm?

Yeah, defiintely not stock. It was the whole setup from suncoast... something like 800 dollars. Put on by the previous owner.

So it is in fact functionally set up then? I realize this is a stupid question given your post but I have a suncoast ram air that doesnt have the kit installed for it to be functional

Oh, that's odd. Mine is functional with a k&n filter. I think it was actually extra to buy the functionality kit.

ridiculous pricing considering you can get a CAI that will give you the same HP benefit. I guess its all aesthetics.

My hood doesn't line up properly by the way, there is a big 3/4 inch gap on the right side and barely any on the left. also it is slightly raised on the right side (no accidents at all.)

Could a body shop align the hood?

yes I had my body shop do it. They said it was a bitch but it came out perfect. I think it helps more than a CAI and looks better plus takes alot of weight of the front. Also keeps the engine compartment cooler since there is more space under the hood.
