Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - Got another car for the garage

Going to go pick up an 86 IROC-Z off a freind of mine in the next few weeks.

Buying it for my wife.

Going to put the ENTIRE old drivetrain from the 83 in it but with a few upgrades :secret2: along with the wheels and tires from it (stickies and skinies).

Also going to put the seats from the 83 and some other stuff and get it painted red to mach mine.

Will be a nice easy 10 sec on the motor car for her. It will take over the 83's job of being a nice day cruiser.

It will runs 10's on the motor, when it was in my car and had some issues and less done to it ran 11.1 with more weight and on 7 cylinders.

P.S. If you are being serious then its obvious that you don't know that I am talking about a built BBC nitrous combo, not a TBI 305.....

Jeremy is being funny, as so many people expect third gens to run slow even with nice SBC motors that are built.

The guy that ownes it right now is trying to screw around with the price so once that is ironed out and its in my garage Ill get pics of the beasts.

He wants to put a stock SBC 350 in it with no carb and tac on an extra $500. I told him that the second I got the car it would go in the trash along with the rear and the 700-R4 tranny...... I hope he gets the point....

He also said he would put a posi 10 bolt in the car.... I laughed and said it would still go in the trash.... well Id sell the drivetrain cheap....... not trash it....

I was going to turn the 468 into a nasty 496 with bottle but I am going a different route. The 468 will keep the bottle but hold its own.

This dude now thinks he has a car loaded with gold... if I can't get it Ill find another one dirst cheap....

All IROC's are slow...they came standard with lead filled bumpers and an anchor out back...:)

That's funny. I bought a car for me (67 camaro rs/ss clone) but sold the whole project idea to my wife by telling "HER" it was her car that I was building for "HER".(any car guy would see through this right away) It backfired... My wife gives me shit for all my projects so I figured this would be an easy plan. I tried to buy her a new car the other day so she would have something nice,new, and reliable and I would take the 67 for me. Good plan, but again... backfire. I underestimated her and the 67'. now she's bugging me every second to finish "HER" 67.... Damn. I showed her though. I just bought a 69!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHA, her dream project is a 57 chevy and I told her it won't fit in the garage, lengh wise I can barley get a third gen in there hahaha
