Do direct port nozzles block airflow in intake ports??
Im doing a direct port on my intake, and just by looking at it, the nozzles stick quite a ways into the airflow path of the intake manifold. How much cfm/hp you think it hurts it?

dunno but the jets are round no? i think thats one of the most aerodynamic shapes there is and people dont seem to run any slower just by having the jets in there so i dont think it would hurt that much. if you plan on having it dynoed anytime soon maybe you tell us?

It's kind of a yes/no. Air in the runner isn't always flowing strait though all the time. It's going back and forth with the pulses and that moves around more or less depending on what the RPM's and engine load are. As far as loosing HP on the dyno after you screw em in it would be negligable really.

I can't say if this effects a LS6 intake but when I went to a Vortech NX nozzle in my Hayabusa I saw just under a 5 horsepower loss.
