So after numerous passes on my 3.23 10 bolt most 60fts in the 1.5's and the best being 1.46 the posi unit gave up spider gears started binding in tight turns so I swapped in a 10 bolt from a v-6 camaro 3.42 geared with code g80 for posi well it turns out I went to the track today and that posi unit is shot as well 1 wheeler lol luckily the rear was only 30.00 from my local u pull it yard lol. I dont really want to go spending a whole lot of money building a 10 bolt so is there anything I could do like get a rebuild kit for the posi or something? So far the only thing ive broken is the posi units. The gears and axles have been fine. So is there any type of rebuild kit or some kind of cheaper posi units out there? I was thinking spool but I heard then im going to need c clip elminators and axles? I recently pulled 3.73's and the posi unit out of a blazer but im not sure if those posi units are any good I had just planned on throwing in the gears and using my existing posi but today at the track I found it spins only 1 wheel atleast on the slicks. It did spin both on street tires though.

You didn't state what brand posis' are in the 3.23 or in the V6 3.42(I'll assume auburn for the V6 rearend).The blazer posi carrier(probably an auburn) is a direct replacement for our 10 bolts.

Both posi's the one in the v6 3.42 and the 3.23 are torsen. The one from the blazer I believe is a factory locker eaton may make it? The one from the blazer has like alittle spring type mechanism it seems not the yellow springs from the f body auburn types. How strong is the blazer posi the one with the little rods/springs inside?
