Default will it need to be re-tuned?

ive got a turboed 6.0l and im about to throw on some heads.. im going to go to a 2 bar map and up the boost in a month or two so it will need tuning then. will I be ok putting the patriots on and not tuning it and just keeping a close eye on the wideband?

thanks, Gary

It should be fine in the mean time. I wouldn't dog on it much, it'll probably run like poo until the LTFTs are relearned but they should save you from running lean unless they are WAY out of whack. If you have the MAF on it, that should save you a little bit as well.

Every mod you do especially when boosted will require a retune to get all the benefits from your changes. It isnt safe unless you verify things are still in line.
