As many of you know we have been helping Casper383 get his car dialed in....figured I would give you guys an update from this weekends testing.

But first here is a little background for those that have missed the previous posts.

1993 Z28, 383cid, "as-cast" AFR 195's, "as-cast" Edelbrock Vic-E EFI, 860 Performance Elbow, Hydraulic Roller Cam. LT1 PCM, TH350, 12 bolt, 3.73's. Nothing really exotic with the build, just a well thought out combo.

Previous times.
10.9 @ 122 (1.48) on motor
10.3 @ 130 (1.3x) on a 100 shot

This weekend we took the car up to the Texas Motorplex for some testing on the 150 shot.

First nitrous pass the car went 10.22 @ 132 on a 1.39 60'....the car launched well and pulled good through the 1/8th but seemed to nose over on the big end. We determined the bottle didn't have enough volume left to maintain pressure down track so we swapped in a new one.

Here is the result.....

That pass the MPH went up to 135 so we knew we had a shot at a 9 on the 150 shot.

Here is a later pass and one that made him to decide to put the limiters back on the car.

Big Thanks go out to Madman....the SYA bars took the brunt of the blow....just a scrape on one of the headers.

10.DOH! Get that front end bounce under control man.
I see a 9.xx slip in the very near future

Those are some very nice times for such a simple, yet well-assembled setup.
What was the raceweight that day?

You can buy Camcorders that record in HD at any place that sells camcorders. They are getting cheaper too.
