Default Cool dyno vid....91X on a BMW

Its a 3.XL I-6 BMW motor running our FI91X. Motor ended up making 1627hp....not bad for a BMW. The turbo still has more to go...

Andreas you use the same place? I hear that, that new dyno reads low. I heard that place had a fire or something like that and they replaced the older model dyno with that new one and its putting out lower #'s. That's coming from the Pro-stock guys.

Yes same place when i need a engine dyno. Yes an engine started to burn and destroyed the old SF-901 dyno. I don´t know if the new one measure lower values, we haven´t compared any engine. But the company that ownes the dyno says that it reads 8% lower then the old one.

From the second and third pic in post 37 it def looks like a cast manifold to me! either that or a very short, non equal length, tubular manifold.

also in the 3rd pick there is nothing else that looks like a manifold....

I have the distinct feeling that one is a little quicker than my 328iC.

Thoroughly badass.
