Default Need opinions on a couple brands of connecting rods...

ok i ordered my diamond pistons for my 6.0 project yesterday from thunderracing...now i need to get rods...i know they are gonna be a forged h-beam design, but i cant decide on whether to go with MANLEY or EAGLE rods? i cant find a place to buy manleys...i have found some manleys but i cant find the right size...i found some agles for $600...the only reason im leaning toward the MANLEYS is b/c ford puts them in the 03 cobra and no offense but the 03 cobra motor is built 3 times stronger than a stock vette or camaro....so what do u guys think i should get?

I don't know how much the Manley rods are, but I'm using the Eagle H beams in my new motor which should push over 800rwhp. I hope they hold up

well i just bought a set of eagle H beams rod with L-19 bolts for $460.. most places take advantage and sell them for 560-600$.. heck the rods with 7/16 ARP bolts cost 414$ and an upgrade with L-19 ARP bolts for extra 46$ , thats a hech of a deal
and the other thing, these rods been in the market for so long, that every engine build up they use them. so they are proven to handle Hp to a max of 750 at 8000 rpm

I have always heard that the lunati pro-mod rods were a better rod than the eagles. I am also wanting to know which rod to choos for a boost motor, with the rod being under $700, thanks.

Are the eagle rods available only in 6.1" or do they also come in 6.125"?

I think Jegs sells them for cheap but they are 6.1"???

jegs and summitt both want to sell you a 2 week wait on a "custom" 6.125" eagle h-beam. ripoff at the prices they want, considering they arent paying more than 400 for a set. try LS1 speed, they had them on the shelf when i needed mine.

thats why i dint get the rods to summit, jegs, ect
and yes the rods will take 2 weeks to get them done for a 6.125 length. the price tag on them were $414
go go here and you will find the prices are fair
