I am starting another Turbo car build this winter. (White 98 Trans-am)
My parts are consisting of the following:
LSX iron block with ETP 265cc 6 bolt head's. (427ci.)
Lunati pro billet crank, Oliver billet rods, manley piston's, comp cam,
MOROSO OIL PAN. Edelbrock intake,elbow, and TB.
Going with a 6 speed tranny. I also will be switching out to a TH400 for track duties.
The goal for this project is to have all the accesories,(Power steering,A/C, and heat) and make 1200-1300rwhp on tap at all time's!
The turbo parts are consisting of the following:
FI-EZ 94mm Billet Turbo, with a turbo smart wastegate and 2 turbosmart BOV's.

Sounds insane there guy! I can't imagine that thing when you are done. Maybe name it "Death Wish"! Damn I am not even sure I want to take my car past its gate boost levels. Staying on the road is already challenging. Course shoudn't be driving it this time of year up here but just can't seem to put it away. So addicting these turbo cars are.

Good luck with the build. Was going to go 427 but now thing my 408 is enough for me.
Maybe I am getting old..no wait already am old..50 to be exact and amazed I got to be this old!

As much as I enjoy racing at the track, I really enjoy just being able to hop in the car and go drive were ever. I will have the th400 for track duty just to satisfy my track need's as well.

So what clutch.. spec twin or tex twin or triple..what six speed? I would have stayed auto but standards are fun of course.

Originally, the car was a 6 speed. Then, it went to a glide, and now it's going back to being a 6 speed car. If you want to think of it in a weird circular way he's really just staying with the 6 speed. haha

Call Jose tomm.....he wants to talk to you. The EZ94X (aka GT55-94) on Brett's Orsca EZ street car first weekend down the track went 5.03@145mph!!!!!!!!! That is with a 360ci and blow thru carb!!!! That turbo is sick...imagine with some tuning time! Turbo should run some low 4.9's@147-150 probably......
