Friendship Request??

I was just wondering if this is not a virus scam, I have had a couple of PM's that say these people are requesting a friendship. What is this? and why is one asking for this??anyone know....

Its not BS, looks like a new feature. I got one already from a good friend of mine.

I don't know if it is new or not... but it is under your public profile. Click on the "Friends" tab and then click on the blue "befriend membername" link.
