408 shortblock or assembly? Opinions
What do you guys feel will save a bit of money and still be smart?
Grab a 408 stroker rotating assembly and I pull my engine, tear it down and let a builder install the rotating assembly.
OR
Grab a built 408 shortblock and then sell the original LS2 shortblock to offset the cost?
I think the rotating assembly would be cheaper but an assembled shortblock (TSP, Venegeance...) would be safer in the long run.
Any ideas or horror stories?

I KNEW it! I should get a kick back from his purchase j/k
I'm glad you're pulling the trigger . . . What made you decide
Jay, I say order the motor. BUT you already have the LS2 . . . Couldn't hurt to get some prices on assembly/build . . .
