Default RS package

I've looked around, can someone give me a link that shows the difference in the RS vs. regular SS? Any links or threads with a list of the changes?

RS = HID headlights with halo circles, darker shade of silver on the wheels, darker tail light lenses, RS emblems, body-colored roof gap seal (plastic pieces between the joints on panels). Basically, the RS is a light upgrade package.

actually, the SS/RS comes with red SS emblems, instead of the silver emblems on the regular SS, only the V6 RS has the red RS emblems...

Red SS emblems? Why not an SS/RS badge?

That is basically all it was in the 67-69 also. Hidden headlight option, with different tail light lenses and relocated reverse lights.

Somewhere along the way, GM ruined the Rally Sport by making it just the V6 version of the Camaro.

RS is back to what it should be, an appearance package available on all models.

Also, on V6 models, RS gets a spoiler.

Another small note:
RS tail lights have a chrome outer bezel to give a "recessed" look while the SS does not.

All SS tail lights get a chrome bezel, but they are darkened inside to look deaper.
John- Yes the lights have a blue tint to them.
If you go here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9750 you can see the difference in the lights and wheels. The first 2 camaro's are RS's the second 2 are not. The RS package also moves the DRL's to the fog lights and I can't confirm but I think the SS embroibery in the seats also change from silver to red.

Whats the deal with the hood scoops? Some RS models seem to have it, others dont. And I have seen SS models with and without the scoops. Whats the deal here?

Now if it had hideaway headlights like the 67-69 that would be worth it but just different lenses and colored emblem is not worth the money especially when you can do it yourself cheaper.

RS has:

HID headlamps with Halo high beams
20" wheels (already on SS)
spoiler (already on SS)
RS badging (Red SS badging on SSs)
Body color roof rain molding
Darkened taillight lenses (afterburner affect)

And to answer your next question, the RS package is cheaper on the SS than it will be on the LTs.
RS can be added to any version except LS.
