Default Auto Start

so before the weather starts getting really cold where i live i wanted to get an auto start installed on my car for those cold winter days when i want to have the car nice and warm when i get in it in the morning so wut im asking is wut are the normal prices for your basic auto start and is there any thing i need to kno? cuz theres a place around the corner from my house that installs them for $179

if its a 6 speed youd have to go around the safty button on the clutch for it to start. but thats not advised to do

yeah, a friend of bypassed the neutral saftey on his civic 5-speed. One morning he hit the remote start, he forgot he left it in gear, and the car drove into a oak tree. Just think about it if your an M6

Yeah, I wouldn't get a remote starter if you have a manual. In the Detroit, MI area a basic install to bypass the theft system is about $160. A upgraded remote start with unlock/lock and trunk open cost me $270 last year for my Chevy Colorado.

thats not true im good friend with an elite audio shop near my house the way the explan it is u pull the e brake leave it in first gear pull key out the get out of the car once all doors are closed the car stay on for another 10 sec then turns off.then u are ready for the remote start but if u dont to all of that it wont work

i look at it like this...i have never left the car in first when i parked it...i just use the e brake...so theres not really a habit to break if i get this remote start
