rearend shifted!! please help!!!
hey guys i need your help asap please i got my 02 camaro thats a 6speed and i just noticed my rear end has shifted more towards the front on the drivers side of the rear but the pass. side hasnt moved at all. i took it to a alignment shop today and they said they cant see nothing and that they adjusted everything that they can. it was in a rear end accident about 3yrs ago and was fixed which included rear bumper and pass rear quarter being replaced but that was it and rear has been straight ever since and never had a problem till now and here is a list of the things recently added/done to the car. rear lca's,lca relocation brackets, body mounted torque arm, boxed welded sfc's. here is a pic of the driver and pass side wheels and also a alignment sheet of 10/17/08 and today 11/20/08 sorry if pics are blurry or to big thanks

Do you have any aftermarket suspension in the rear? The only thing I can think of is the mounting holes for the Lower trailing arm got ripped allowing the rear to shift. Unless you have adjustible lower trailing arms and one came loose or something.

I don't know then. That's a weird one. Unless how I mention maybe a bolt hole got reamed out. You may want to bump this thread to the top tomorrow morning to get more help. Good Luck with it.

It has to be either your LCA, LCA bracket on the axle housing, or the LCA mounting point on the body. It may not be apparent what is wrong just by looking at it. I would pull the LCA off. If I had to make a guess...I would say that the weld didn't hold on the LCA relocator and it shifted.

ok so turns out it was the relocation brackets weren't welded even though I had told them the were not bolt on. So the released the lca from the diff and the rear went back to place and then actually welded them on. Now I got to go get realigned again. Thanks everyone I greatly appreciate it
