stock cubes?

not gonna happen unless its an all out, high compression, big cam, race gas engine. I think the highest RWHP LSx with L92 heads and an L76 intake I've heard of is about 535 RWHP, but that was with a 416ci and a nice sized cam.

You need more cubes. Or spray it with a 150 shot and make 625-650 RWHP.

Build a 418 out of the 6.2l Block with a 4.000" Crank and the Rods/Pistons to match, and then I would Port the LS6 Heads, Fast Intake and a good size Cam, and you will get to that mark.

The L76 Intake runs out of RPM's too fast to be useful.

Is that 6k for the long block?

You have a few options on the short block. You can go with a 408 and hit the mark or go bigger and hit it easier. the LQ9 is the least expensive block to buy and they go up from there. You would be looking at a L92 block next for the bigger bore and power potential. The LS2 is the same bore size so it woldnt make sense to use it unless you specificaly wanted almuminum. Your looking at a 416 with the L92 and a 4" stroke crank from us, others will bore it more and make a 418.
The power is made in the heads and cam selcetion but you need cubic inches to get where you want to be comfortably.

We can help you out, call me if your interesated or I can call you.

or i was thinking i have some diaonds pistons #11514, should i just put those in my ls2 with some katech rod bolts, an callies crank, port my ls6 heads/or l92 heads, an just spray the **** out of it??

i made 401 rwhp with a stock ls2 behind a th400 an dana s60, i dont get why i couldnt make easily 500+rwhp with a good head an cam, let alone a 415 stroker with ls6 heads ported/polished/l92 heads ported polished,

i got about $7-8000 to spend so i need some good adice,

i have a fast 92mm intake already but i

I would take that l92 block you have, have it cleaned up .005 and add the Callies 4" crank like you wanted and some callies rods and make a 416 out of it. Throw in some Wiseco pistons. The heads if you can swing the Nitro Dave /860 Performance intake, use the L92's. I didnt extrapulate the money but off the top of my head it looks close.
I can send you a quote to do it for you or provide the rotating assembly. You can spray it all you want as well

First of all, without looking up part numbers What bore size, stroke, and rod length are they set up for. Are they brand new? Because if you want to run that piston, you are stuck with those dimensions.

Now, if you are opne to running a different piston, than basically everything that has been said already above, will work.

400+", good selection on cam, heads cleaned up, your there.

OK, I see. I was thinking you were wanting to run those pistons, and obvioulsy you would have been serioulsy limited to what you could have done.

That being the case, throw some cubes at it, cam, heads cleaned/touched up and it never has been easier to make that much power
