Are you speaking of a carbureted setup?

Not necesarily. You have done this both ways yourself? Why is it better?

I would not suggest going someplace to have this done if they had not done some LT1 single plane conversions successfully. Done correctly it isn't cheap, especially when you have the intake matched to the particular heads you are using and have the plenum "touched up". Why bother at all if you are not going to get the most performance out of the conversion.

Old SStroker, haven't seen you in awhile. When you guys did my Super Vic we done the intake, not the heads.

from what he said I thought he just wanted the mounting holes to match up on the heads and intake
I guess I misunderstood I thought he was going a carb setup

for the actual conversion I agree get someone that has done a few already

Mine has the intake dilled and a couple of the holes overlap eachother and it looks like crap.I know people that have had the heads drilled and it looks way better and I am sure it will have less chance of leaking
