engine builders help i am building a car to run in a ORSCA class. Ineed to know what u think i need to make this kind of power with these rules , this is an 1/8 mile class on a 10.5 inch tire ,3200 pound car ,carbed engines only ,1 stage of nitros any size but 1 stage ,440 ci small block max engine size ,no sheetmetal intakes,
most cars in this class have anywhere from 900 hp to 1300 hp
the 1/8 mile record in this class is a 5.27 at 133mph
im thinking LSX but not shure
any help will be great thanks

while an lsx would work fine it probably would be cheaper to build to build a sbc,the lsx engines can make hp cheaper but to make them reliable is where the money comes in
