Default Football question

What does it mean when the Texans have more points than the other team and the clock runs out?

I haven't seen this happen very often, so it confuses me.

I just asked a buddy of mine that knows stuff about football. He says when one team has more points than the other and time runs out, that team wins.

Does this mean Texans won?

Richard Smith is out of here.

That ******* dialed up the most idiotic defense I've ever seen. On 4th and 10 (The Texans are the only team NOT to stop their opponents on 4th downs. We're now 0 - 8) we FINALLY decided to bring some pressure. It was a Cover 0 blitz. So basically it's man to man coverage on the eligible receivers and then everybody else is bringing the pain. It's a great call cause were bringing one more than they can block, so the ball is coming out quick. The only problem was that for some reason all 3 of our DB's were playing with the biggest cushion I've ever seen on 4th & 10. So of course Adibi comes free and Quinn has to throw it 2 steps into his drops, completes it Mr. Butterfingers, and falls for a first down.

Thanks, *******.

The Texans suck so badly that they can't even lose properly.

I heard that the defense actually read the plays in the 2nd half upside down. They were supposed to sit down and watch everyone run by but they instead tackled and blocked. Not what the coaches seem to have been wanting like the previous weeks. I bet heads are gonna roll when they watch the tapes.

They tried to give away the win but couldn't even do that right. Silly me, and I thought the Texans would be a playoff team this year. Romeo Crennel is done in Cleveland thanks to this. At this point Houston should just play to their capabilities, which will mean all losses in their remaining games, in order to get a better draft position.

Sorry. I am a Texans fan, but we did not win that game. Cleveland lost it. That was probably our last win of the season.

We might win at Oakland. Other than that, we'll go 0-fer.

I still wonder what the season might have looked like had Lolsenfels not puked up the game against Indy. They might be playing with a whole lot more confidence, not to mention they might actually believe in their QB. That still doesn't hide the fact that the defense is atrocious.
