Default amp for rockford t1's

im kinda new to stereos so ive got a question about amp's. im lookin into buying some 12" rockford t1's. my question is if I get a mono amp thats rated at 600 watts rms @ 2ohms and get two 2 ohm subs and wire them in parallel to get a 2 ohm load does that mean that each sub will get 600 watts or is the power split and each sub only gets 300 watts?

OK for one those are dual voice coil subs. So you will need a pair of dual 2 ohm t1's. But what you will want to do is find an amp that is 1200 watts @ whatever resistance you want to make. The Power Does Get Split!!!

just get a pair of 4 ohm t1's then you can wire in parallel/parallel to 1ohm. then get you a amp that does 1200rms at 1ohm.

This will open your amp choices quite a bit.
