Hey guys,

Im riding on 90,000 miles with my car right now, and the original clutch it has needs to be replaced. Im going to replace it with the LS7 clutch.

What parts do I need for the whole swap? (Im looking at our sponsors BYUNSPEED and SDPC)

I am newbie when it comes to mechanics, however I plan on doing this swap in my garage. How high will I need to get my car up on blocks? I don't have access to a lift and I don't want to pay anyone to work on my car, I would like to learn myself)

Luckily, im heading to Arizona for Christmas which means I can bring anything back under $750 (Can) without getting dinged with duty at the border. But on the other side im not happy because I could have bought this clutch a while ago when the Canadian dollar was at par with the American dollar.... now its 1 Can$ = 81 Cents US..gah! (Please go up) lol

SDPC dumdumdum clutch installed and works great no complaints here awesome people to do business with and there customer service/support is the best i've come across in the modding world... i purchased the whole setup (LS7 clutch kit, pilot bearing, slave cylinder, master cylinder for a little less then 750 with shipping)... you will need to support the car up enough to be able to unbolt the tranny and move it back i'd say about a foot and a half to two feet, also i hope you have some long extensions to reach the bolts on the top of the bellhousing and tranny

Not sure what you mean by blocks. Get four high quality jack stands like these:

Ya basically by blocks I meant how high I need to get the car.

I have some of those jackstand but I don't think they will extend high enough for me to get the tranny out. Im not sure. :/

They worked great to get the tranny out. I had the car up even higher when I put my headers in:
