For a limited time we are offering our Ported/Powdercoated Throttle Bodies for $130 plus shipping. This includes all LS1 truck and f-body applications. We currently have 18 completed throttle bodies in stock in various colors. Yes that is right, WE have cores. Core charge will be $200 and as an added bonus, we will refund $205 if the TB is returned within 10 days from the date of initial shipment. If you would rather send in your core, turnaround time will be a swift 4 days or the TB is half off! We accept paypal or money order. We have additional cores for both f-body and truck applications for custom colors etc.

The following modifications are done to the TB:
*Ported to 75mm and Polished Inside
*Inlet is shaped to reduce turbulence
*TB base is Powdercoated any color
*Front of Throttle Shaft is cut off for improved flow
*Throttle Shaft is Powdercoated like chrome
*Return Spring is polished/clear coated
*Throttle blade screws are shortened
*Blade is polished
*Hole is Epoxied in and contoured for best flow
*Copper tubing is used for accuracy for the IAC & PCV Holes
*Throttle Stop is ground to fully open the blade
*Rear of TB is surfaced for a clean fit/finish to the Manifold

We have a limited number of 2000+ cores on hand. These will be sold on a first come first serve basis. If/when we run out of the 2000+ cores we will be starting a waiting list. If demand warrants, we will also be purchasing more 2000+ cores.

If I have a picture of the tint you're looking for, I can get close. I may be able to get the finish you desire with a little creative blasting and not have to powdercoat. But I do have a chrome smoke color that is grayish. And worst case scenario, I can order some powder. I have a titanium swingarm for my banshee, but it's all polished out now. :) If you have a link or something I can look at to verify what you're looking for I can surely find the powder or a way to match it.

I can polish the outsides on request. It's $50 additional or $180. I will be looking into having the outsides chromed, but I'm sure it won't be cheap like the powdercoated versions. I do currently have extra cores that are not powdercoated. Drop me an email if you're interested.

how long is this going for? i ll be storing my car here shortly and wont mind not having a tb.

You do beautiful work. Can you powder coat in silver? If so, I need you to work your magic on my C5 TB. If I decide to have you polish the whole thing instead of powder coat, is the 4 day turnaround still available?

How soon can you find out about the chrome version and will it be before the sale ends? The polished looks beautiful, but I really dont want to keep up with it, especially with all the curves, groves, etc.! :eek2: Silver might work depending what I decide with the scheme colors. Ive got red, black, and chrome, but Im thinking of ditching the red. Let me know thanks.

Special pricing will be in affect for 2 weeks until October 9. All orders placed before then will receive special pricing. In the event we run out of cores, which is likely for 2000+ models, we'll be starting a waiting list and as long as you're on the list before Oct. 9, you'll get the special pricing.

Bergerman: I can powdercoat in silver. I have C5 cores as well so you won't have any downtime. I can manage a 4 day turnaround on either powder/polish. As long as I'm not completely swamped. Just let me know. But this is a great time while I have a dozen TB's left filling orders.

NVMySS: We will be offering the throttle shaft & spring in chrome from now on. It will be a $40 option. We don't have a local shop that can chrome aluminum so we're still looking for somebody to fill that need. But we definately will be offering a chromed version in the future. We will also be trying out anodized plating for the TB's in the very near future.

SilverTA: If your throttle plate has been modified, I will withhold $20 from the core charge to have the blade re-welded and fixed. But other than that, the core is good. Drop me an email and I'll get you setup with a TB.

I need one in Nassua blue powercoated for a c5 ,do you have a core ?? With electronics too ?? Would like the throttle motor done as well .

HAHA, I don't have any clue what color nassua blue is, but if I can see a pic or link to it, I'm sure I have a blue that's close. I have C5 Cores in stock and can polish the motor housing as well. C5 TB's ported/polished are $150 during the special.

$130 + $10 shipping + $200 core. Or you can send in your core. The core must have a good throttle shaft and blade. If the blade has been drilled out, we can put it in your new TB or charge $20 to replace and/or fix.

We have one left in stock ready to be shipped.

I would HIGHLY suggest that before anyone buys anything from Jantzer they should do a search for his name and throttle body's on here. He has done many members wrong too many times. Scott have you cleaned up your act? :huh:

I just got a TB last night from this GP...

It's an a-ok product...

Scott talked me into a silver/black metalaic...
It's black with silver specks ,& it looks super with my Meziere street BLACK ewp... If you have the BLACK pump, this is the TB color you want...

It came with electronics, but I used mine as I know they work. I sent Scotts electronics back with my 'stock' 98 core today...

I replaced a 3 year old ported MMS TB, [ Morgan Motorsports ] , with this Jantzer unit... I figured that after 3 years, the porting learning curve should be better...
And it is... :D Night & day differance between the two...
The MMS is like a stone age piece of porting technology...
Don't know if MMS still ports TBs, if they do, I'm sure it's got to be better after 3 years... The MMS epoxy still looks, & is bonding just the same after 3 years, so if you were afraid of the epoxy falling out, don't be...

Drove to work this morning with the Jantzer TB on, & it's a-ok, no problems. And no, I can't feel any change between the Jantzer TB & the old MMS TB... All ported TBs should feel the same on the street... Maybe I'll pick up a few hundreds at the track, or maybe I won't... With a basic LS1 car with 'bolt-ons', all ported TBs should give the same performance... Maybe someone will do a 'shoot-out' between the differant ported TBs someday...

I'm a 1st time customer of Jantzer, & I have been totally pleased with this TB... Don't know anything about his past... His present work is excellent... :cheers:

Actually, our porting differs in many aspects. The housing is opened up to a true 75mm, Shaner doesn't remove the restriction. We also modify the lip on the entrance which Shaner doesn't do.

And one more thing.... WE introduced the first Powdercoated TB just as we will be the first to show you what a chrome throttle shaft & spring looks like on one of these pieces of art. ;)

I've had my Jantzer TB for almost 2 weeks now, I have no track times(this week) but throttle responce is noticably better. I am very satisfied with mine.
