Raced a C6 and Charger R/T on the way home the other night...

Raced a C6 and Charger R/T on the way home the other night... I was coming back from a friend's house the other night when a black C6 came running up on my bumper. After we went through the light he switched lanes and got beside me. We both acknowledged and took off with him pulling a car on me from the start. I actually was able to get about a half car back on him and we stayed like that for the rest of the run. Not too bad a run. I short shifted third by a little. I was over anxious.
I jump on the highway and start heading back when I pull up next to a new R/T. We were doing about 70 when I dropped to third to pull up next to him. He took off as soon as he heard the car downshift. (Not his fault. He probably thought I was going for the ricer flyby.) He's about a car and a half out when I instantly reel him in and put 3-4 on him before shutting down. It was a fun night.
Car is an '01 ws6 m6 with ram clutch, aluminum flywheel, rumbler cb, and 3.73's.

i sometimes only partial throttle it against alot of the 4cyl's i come across who rev at me. they shift and gain a little on me and i just push the throttle the smallest amount to pull back in front and make them think its close.
but either way nice kill on the R/T those things are fat pigs!
..and yes the vette driver was a very good driver

I find it hilarious how it's so hard to believe he did what he did to the C6 but the Charger was doomed from the beginning. haha. I love this site.
A car that is going to put 3/4 cars on a Charger R/T should be around the C6 at the end of the race. Sounds very plausible.

The c6 driver was cool. It seemed like he wanted to go again. I should have stayed with him but I was quite a bit from home and the onramp was right there. The Charger got off the same exit I did but went the opposite way.

i raced my buddies with my stock edge gt and had 2 cars on him from a stop and 40 roll.
