1982 firebird doors lights

1982 firebird doors lights ok well for my Christmas present my dad bought me a 1982 Pontiac Firebird project car and i get to help him work on it and well im not that smart when it comes to cars i wanted to know if the 1982'S doors and automatic lights are the same as the 1992's doors and automatic lights because they look vary similar

the door itself should be the same from 82-92... some of the interior componants specifically the door panel on the inside are different, although i'm guessing you could take the interior door panel off your old door and put it in the new one... as for automatic lights i don't know what you're referring to.. do you mean the dome light? i dont know if they changed that or not.

hey awesome thanks thats what i needed to hear we have the panel its the actual door thats rusted through but i ment the headlights sorry the ones that rise by themselves i know the covers are a bit different but the actual actuators are the same or not?
