Default 12.3 after H/C/I?

Hey guys, have a question about my current setup. Before the H/C/I install my best ET was a 12.89@105 on a 1.74 60', after 12.31@111 on a 1.72 60' w/a DA of around 2500' (which is pretty good for us here). Does this sound about right? Here are the details...

stock shortblock
LS6 intake
P&P stock TB
TSP Torquer V.3 cam
PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 heads
Pacesetter LTs w/OR Y dumped before rear axle
Fuddle 3600
3.73s

I'm sure there is a bit more in her but just how much I dont know. Can someone shed some light? Thanks.

What kind of Wheel and Tire set-up do u have? U should be cutting better 60's and therefore running better times.

Fronts are just my street tires and rears are 255/50-16 MT ET Street DRs on stockers. I'm not sure how I can get better 60s, car hooks and goes, no wheelspin that I can tell. When I left at 3k my 60 was 1.73 and when I just flashed it 1.72. Skinnies would be nice but not it the budget just yet.

Well, I'm sure the tune could use a little more tweaking. Hopefully next month after some changes are made the MPH will come around.

It could be because of where you are located. I have a cam only car and ran an 11.9 at 118 in the middle of summer all over the limiter. I think that time was on a 1.9 60.

Well, summer is one thing, its not unheard of for the DA here to be between 5000'-6000'. The more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards the torque converter. Bought it used and seemed fine with stock power, maybe there is an issue with the extra ponies. Not sure, gonna have to do some research.

Sounds good man, forgot to mention, when I made that pass during the summer it was in Southern Ga, humid as hell. Dont know what that does to the DA but I know it didnt help! Hope you get low 11s like the car is capable of.

Im not sure if we met formally but im Midnight over on the forums lvfbody.com and lvcfo.org. Me and you pretty much have the same mods and run at the same track. I think its in your tune. Before the heads I hit a best of 12.2@110 on a 1.78 60ft. Then after the heads I hit a 11.9@114 with a person in the car. So the car can hit at least an 11.8 or 11.7 with a good launch and probably hit 115/116 mph. Being that you have heads and cam plus bolt-ons and your mph is only 111 Im thinking its your tune or maybe even the heads. Ive heard great things about the prc 5.3's but I opted to go with the patriot stage 2 ls6 heads so I could run a .040 cometic without clearance problems. Have you had the car dynoed yet? Just wondering what it put down. I know my heads didnt do **** for me on the dyno but gave an equivalent of 50rwhp at the track. Ill try to meet up with you at the next midnight mayhem and maybe we can run. Once you get your car running the way it should me and you would be a real close race, and my pops can tape it. let me know.

Hey Midnight, your car is actually why I posted this in the first place. The car hasnt been dyno'd yet, actually hoping to get over to Doug's before the next MM. Joe (Silverbird) tuned her. Hopefully when all is said and done our cars will be running neck and neck.

hey man looks like you will need alittle more seat time. my first time out with my car i ran a 12.3 @ 116 w/ 1.8. my most recent time was 12.01 @ 116.5 w/ 1.7. i know the car has 11s in it but its all in the driving.

only thing different between are setups is the 90/90 4.10s and m6.
